据悉，Bright长期多次利用自己在网站中的管理职位以及在SCP基金会写作圈内的元老身份，对多位SCP社群成员做出不合理要求，包括但不限于：要求与其私聊的粉丝发送裸照、和未成年人[[footnote]] 年龄最小的受害者仅14岁。 [[/footnote]]聊不适宜话题、在线下聚会中和粉丝发生性关系、在性交友网站上明确说明自己是基金会作者并以此吸引他人。此类行为最早可以追溯到2012年，当时他不知是半开玩笑还是认真地在加入Wiki站点的申请页说明想要加入网站则需要给自己发一张裸照。 面对舆论压力，主站管理们终于做出了决定——继2021年封禁该账号半年后，2022年又对他做出永久封禁的处理。
