阿特拉尔是Universe01中的一颗半天然行星，由于厄尔玛本部的存在，被厄尔玛信徒称为“厄尔玛本国”。在阿特拉尔，有92%的国家以厄尔玛为国教。阿特拉尔是许多厄尔玛信徒眼中的理想乡，是渴望前来巡礼的圣地。治安良好，推荐作为初次异世界跳跃的目的地。
阿特拉尔最大的特征是超高的时间流压。与地球相比，阿特拉尔的时间流速极快，地球每经过一日，阿特拉尔平均经过五十年。该时间流差异变动幅度较大，与地球一日对应的阿特拉尔时间从十日至最多八十年不等。在该地停留期间请注意厄尔玛本部公开的时间流预报。
阿特拉尔文明远比地球文明先进。由于前述的高时间流速，阿特拉尔文明的进步速度也更快。另外，从多个世界聚集来的人才也取得了许多新进步。

来自异世界的跳跃者首先会造访阿特拉尔最大的城市“厄尔梅斯”。厄尔梅斯是一座先进的都市，以建筑黑色外墙上的暖色灯光为特征，在为观光而来的跳跃者中颇受欢迎。厄尔梅斯广泛吸纳异世界移民，并为他们提供集体住宅。由于特别的时间流速，“在阿特拉尔研究十年，原本的世界也只过了不到一天”，从事研究工作的信徒们对其十分青睐。
每个厄尔玛信徒都可以通过厄尔梅斯的行星际传送网络进入厄尔玛总部。这里有着与厄尔梅斯建筑风格完全不同的石质建筑，其中最大的是厄尔玛的象征性设施——厄尔玛总部所在的麦萨城。厄尔玛总部对希望进行异世界跳跃的信徒提供支持业务，职员工作情况随时开放参观。
厄尔玛总部的地下空间保留有传说中厄尔玛教祖首次进行异世界跳跃时使用的最古老的异世界跳跃装置。该装置目前仍可正常使用，可用于向Universe02进行异世界跳跃。

我和前妻有一个女儿，才刚五岁。我正想着今后必须努力......却确诊了不治之症。
得知此事时我只剩下一个月的生命。女儿除我以外没有亲人。我很遗憾没能守护女儿的成长。
告诉女儿自己已时日无多时，我遇见了厄尔玛。我的大学同学本川，不知从何处听说我命不久矣，于是前来探访（他更为大家所熟知的称呼是上级祭司Motokawa）。
本川带来了关于厄尔玛及总部所在的阿特拉尔的信息，告诉我那里可以治好我的病。当时我没有听信他的话，只觉得他被奇怪的宗教蛊惑堕落，趁火打劫地来骗我的钱。我把本川赶出病房，回到床上躺着。
我的病情以超乎医生预料的速度恶化，将在两周后提前迎接死亡。我抱着女儿泪流满面，想着即将到来的死亡时，本川又出现了。他看到我的表情，不是无可奈何地摇摇头，而是向我提出了建议。
“把女儿托付给厄尔玛吧。”
我想把他赶出去，但这次没上次那么容易，他坚持不肯离开，不断地尝试说服我，足足持续一个多小时。
把女儿托付给莫名其妙的宗教是做不到的。所以说把女儿送到设施里也......不行不行，宗教什么的说到底都是骗人的，贩卖人口这种事也很可能发生。我没有点头。正在本川告诉我这就和把孤儿送进修道院差不多时，女儿开口了。
“我要去阿特拉尔。”
我劝女儿不要，她不听。
“如果本川先生说的是真的，那我就可以让爸爸看到我成长的样子。所以我要去阿特拉尔。”
我本无缘看到的、女儿成长的样子......我说不出话来。
“现在这个时期一天等于六年。女儿就交给我吧。”
于是本川带着我的女儿离开了病房。也许是被迫近的死亡削弱了心力，我没能出声和女儿道别。

两天后，一个陌生男人来到病房。“这是礼物。”男子把一张照片交给我。
照片里是一位穿着陌生服装的、中学生年纪的女子。照片背面是“国立厄尔梅斯学院合格”的字样。我感到这女子身上有女儿的影子，于是问那男人：
“这张照片，难道——”
男人已经悄无声息地消失了。门关着。不可思议的男人和照片，让我觉得阿特拉尔这个不可思议的世界真的存在。
此后，大约每半天到一天，我都会收到照片。
修学旅行、厄尔梅斯神学院合格、成人礼、厄尔梅斯神学院毕业、毕业旅行、厄尔玛总部录取，照片里的女儿成长着。“啊，做得真好啊。”抱着这样让人安心的思绪......我的意识渐渐沉入黑暗......
再睁开眼时，我躺在陌生的病房里，身上插着许多管子。身体不太能活动，我于是转动目光，看到枕边垂垂老矣的本川。
“呀，好久不见。”
病重的我没能很好地回答。
“这是我想亲自带给你的。”
本川拿出一张照片。是身穿纯白婚纱的女儿。
“对象是那孩子学生时代的后辈。因为阿特拉尔的婚礼上没有婚纱，所以是特意定做的。”
“……那孩子已经能独当一面了，没必要再在一旁看护着了。”
我看着照片和本川的泪眼，心中五味杂陈，眼泪止不住地落下......
“其实今天还有一位客人，等一下。”
本川跑着离开病房.
