2023年的第5届新秀竞赛，将在10月1日开始投稿。本次竞赛中心页列出了过往竞赛中涌现出的精彩作品，做了一个简单却回味无穷的蒙太奇。作为鼓励新人迈出自己大胆第一步的竞赛，本次竞赛依然和上一届一样不对写作内容进行限制，且参赛条件进一步放宽，任何没有精品作品的作者均可参赛。本次竞赛只开设了SCP格式一个赛道。
