++* 2025“群雄逐鹿”新秀竞赛赛程过半！
十月给我们带来了长假，也为我们带来了每年的定番——新秀竞赛。今年的新秀竞赛投稿期延长至10月24日结束，而投票截止时间则到了10月31日。参赛作品需要符合三大主题之一，也即“控制/收容/保护”，需加对应隐藏标签。设四个赛道：SCP、故事、GoI、图书馆。参赛者的准入门槛还是和以前的标准一致——不得在对应赛道拥有精品原创页面。而本期更为初入本站的新手设置了便利，符合条件的新人选手，也即总作品篇目数不超过5篇且所有作品的总分数不超过200的作者，可选“新手装备”，结算时可以在原分数上加成25%。竞赛设奖金与实物奖品的赛道奖、新人榜奖，另有多项揭榜挑战与隐藏成就。
赛程已经过半，SCP赛道依然丰收到不能再丰收，其他赛道里，也有佳作出现。后半程还会不会出现什么变数？我们拭目以待。

日分的4000竞赛终于在预热多次后放出了中心页。头图里，赤红色的天空，波动着的品红符文，无异在向所有人宣告某些糟糕的事情发生了——这也正合本次竞赛的主题：“灾厄”。
本次比赛提早许久放出比赛中心页，以让所有写手好好准备。投稿于12月13日开始，12月28日停止投稿。而投票机制则和往期的日分K赛保持一致：投票窗口在1月17日结束，然而，如果在结算时，存在和当时第一名之间分数差距小于10分的参赛作品，则将进入加时赛，投票窗口将延长一周达到1月25日，随后不管是否还有分数差距，关闭投票并宣布胜者。

由俄罗斯开发者开发的SCP统计网站[https://scpper.com/ SCPPER]，由于爬虫代码失效，已停止抓取中分页面，数据库更新停在了今年的2月份。其替代品[https://crom.avn.sh Crom]虽然更现代也更方便，但终归是更符合欧美用户的习惯。
有幸的是，由[[*user AndyBlocker]]开发的中分特供版SCP统计网站SCPPER-CN已经正式运行了一段时间了。其使用crom作为后端，不仅实现了原有的SCPPER功能如对作品的分数随时间变化进行跟踪，更实现了一些独创功能，如检查用户活跃度（每天的编辑/发帖/投票）和在绑定Wikidot账户之后每当你的作品增加一定分数或增加评论便提醒你的提醒系统。欢迎各位使用这一平台，使用中遇到的问题或者对功能有什么建议也可以联系[[*user AndyBlocker]]哦！

几年前，突然回想起某个小村落。
是以前一个人旅行的时候去过的有间小旅馆的村庄。
那间旅馆的接待非常亲切又无微不至，让我突然想马上再去一次。
到了连假，我就一个人开车上路。我算是自认记忆力不错的，路也都记得。
到了村庄附近，应该要有指示的标志才对。
看到那个标示牌我却觉得「嗯？」的非常困惑。
照说应该是「往前○○公里」的标志才对，不过现在上面却写着「巨头オ」。
我心里有奇怪的预感不过还是想去，结果还是照着路标前进了。
车子开进去后，发现村庄整个荒废了，建筑物也都被杂草覆盖。
正想下车的时候，大约20公尺前的草堆里突然出现了头极度巨大的…人？
就在我又惊又疑的当时，附近也冒出了一大堆！
而且开始用噁心的动作，两手紧贴脚上，一边左右摇晃着巨大的头一边靠了过来。
还没下车算我好运。
我立刻大脚踩油急速倒车，然后一路猛冲到上了省道为止。
回到家确认了地图，几年前去过的村庄跟这次去的地点确定是一样的。
不过我可不想再去一次了。

网友们对“巨头オ”中的“オ[[footnote]]并非汉字的“才”字，而是日文的片假名[[/footnote]]”也进行了猜测，有人认为是“村”字的一部分，也有人认为这个符号指向了网友后面遭遇的巨人。
到了2018年8月14日，网友的推特将这个传说代入了现实，他拍下了一个写着“巨头オ”的木牌，这条推特引起了网友的热烈讨论，很快，有网友找到了照片的拍摄地点，但令人遗憾的是，当地既没有网友照片显示的路牌，当地也没有巨头人的传说，这只是都市传说考据中又一次平常的巨魔行为。而发布“巨头オ”的网友也被发现在网上撰写过多篇内容类似的故事，而“巨头オ”本身，很大概率只是一篇虚构的故事。
